30 day Green Smoothie Challenge

I just put up all the info HERE.

I've been reading Dr. Greger's book, finished it actually.  After doing so I concluded that we're eating really well except we need to eat more fruit. We've coincidentally fallen off the green smoothie wagon so when I found out about this 30 day challenge it was a no-brainer.

Doggie TM Update

The dogs love the treadmill. If it's open they'll run in and sit on it hoping we'll turn it on. I gave up putting all four of them on together because there's really not enough room.  I also didn't want to mess up their habit of walking in heel position. So one of us walks in front and they walk in heel. Eventually we'll get rid of the leads but I also don't want to mess up their habit of walking with a slack lead.

They all have different TM personalities. Reilly will usually get right down to business, slipping quickly into pack drive with his tail and head down. Fionn is next closely followed by Hutch. Fionna likes to play around, running ahead, riding back, she's like that outside as well. The video is silent but we typically play music and talk to them while we walk.  What's their favorite music you ask? A brisk Irish fiddle piece closely followed by Loreena Mckennitt ballads. What can I say? They're Irish Jacks!

For comparison can find their first session HERE.

Unexpected Christmas Gift

Several years ago a coworker gave me a cutting of a Christmas Cactus. It was teeny tiny, just two segments. It's grown into a small but healthy plant but has yet to bloom.... until now!

This week I noticed that it has light colored buds. When she gave it to me she was unsure what color the blooms would be as the plant that the segments had come from was gifted to her and hadn't yet bloomed.

I have a Christmas Cactus that blooms red in the same window. Due to the natural light it actually blooms at Christmas. I consider those blooms a gift from Mother Nature. These new blooms are an extra unexpected gift and I'm ridiculously excited to watch them grow and wait for them to bloom so I can see their final color.

It's a Wrap!!

This morning I finished my T-Tapp 10 day Bootcamp. Originally I planned on doing T-Tapp Tempo Total Body plus some extra T-Tapp moves each day. I ended up doing First Step WO 1, First Step WO 2, and Senior Fit. Because those workouts are so long I didn't do any extras.

Now I move on to T-Tapp every other day for 14 days. On the other days I'll do two T-Tapp moves and either rebound or do really easy Firms, like the Basic workouts. I want to be able to push my T-Tapp workouts hard so easier traditional workouts are necessary.

T-Tapp Bootcamp

I'm doing one. :) Today is actually Day 8 of a 10 day Bootcamp. If you're not familiar with T-Tapp you might be scratching your head and wondering what I'm talking about, so allow me to explain.

T-Tapp Bootcamps aren't what most people think of when they think Bootcamp. Basically a T-Tapp Bootcamp is when you do a T-Tapp workout for a run of days. 4, 7, 10, or 14 are most common. Back in the day the rules were strict and you would use only certain workouts. Personally, I was born to fly in the face of rules so I use whatever T-Tapp workout I want to.

I'm currently using the streaming workout, First Step Workout 2. I did a brief review of it HERE.

This Bootcamp is part of my hybrid T-Tapp Model's Blitz/Firm 90 Day Rotation. So far so good!
